Maryland Master Naturalist Program

Fountain Rock Nature Center and Catoctin Creek Nature Center are serving as the host sites for a training class of the Maryland Master Naturalist Program.  Twenty-one individuals volunteered to take the training provided under the guidance of the University of Maryland.


The Maryland Master Naturalist program provides detailed training to prepare volunteer naturalists with the skills to contribute to nature programs. Upon completion of the Master Naturalist Training Program, the volunteer Master Naturalists will provide assistance to both Fountain Rock Nature Center and Catoctin Creek Nature Center.
