Bee swarm at Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center

The bees from our indoor hive at the Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center are swarming !

A bee swarm is when a queen bee leaves the hive with worker bees to form a new bee hive. Usually the bees will leave the existing hive and swarm together in a large group at a nearby location.  The bees then set out and find a new location for their new hive.

Come out and visit us at Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center this weekend and learn more about bees.
