The New Junior Naturalist Program

Field studies in the Junior Naturalist program at Fountain RockOver the last few years, we’ve heard from a lot of parents who are looking for science-based nature studies programs for their tween / teenager. That’s why we’re very pleased to announce a new series at Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center, our Junior Naturalist program.

Through this engaging series of four natural history classes, each participant trains to become an assistant naturalist. We’ll delve deep into environmental stewardship practices and ecological studies, using real field exercises and techniques. It’s the best combination of learning valuable STEM skills all while having a blast!
